Sue always had an interest in plants as sources of medicines and she is a keen gardener and allotment grower so botanical art seemed a good fit to learn in her semi-retirement.
After a beginners workshop in early 2015 Sue enrolled for a certificate in botanical art at Kew Gardens completing this in summer 2016.
In 2017 Sue began the Chelsea School of Botanical Art diploma course graduating in 2019.
